Leamon Duncan and Barry Schwoerer in militia uniform setup a table and displayed a musket, tools to make the musket operate, and equipment carried by a typical soldier. Jacob Schwoerer in militia uniform used a toy musket to recruit and train youngsters in basic order of arms and musket operations. Sean Schwoerer handed out brochures and talked to visitors. We were joined by CAR CWG Chapter Senior President Elizabeth Bays, DAR members Tammy and Paula Schwoerer, in period dress; and sisters Arianna, Sophia, Gracelynn Schwoerer in period dress. The girls participated in Colonial games and sports on the park grounds. |
